At C&O Consulting Ltd. we specialize in facilitating Strategic Planning Sessions.  Our facilitator comes to you wherever you choose to host the Strategic Planning Session- board room, hotel conference room, or resort.  You plan where to have it, and we take care of preparing the facilitation sessions.  If you’re not sure where or how to start we can meet with you to walk you through the process from start to finish.

It is recommended to have Strategic Planning Session at least once annually.  This time of reflection and goal setting is one of the essential keys to success.

Objective

The overall objective for a Strategic Planning Sessions is to enhance the growth
and development of your organization. Taking the time to review what’s working
and celebrate your strengths is important for boosting confidence and morale. At
the same time it is also essential to identify your opportunities for growth so that
these may be addressed and improvements can be made. At the conclusion of a
Strategic Planning Session an organization must have clear concise goals and
identified key success drivers.

Opportunity

Strategic Planning Sessions provide opportunities for company growth, visioning
and creating a cohesive working environment. An example of the process includes
identifying organizational goals through the contribution of all participants. Goals are
then prioritized and decided upon using various facilitation methods. It is then that

Structure

Strategic Planning Sessions can be as simple or complex as you would like from an
all-inclusive retreat, to a simple boardroom planning session. You decide who will
attend, where you want to have it and how long. We highly recommend holding the combined Sessions “off-site” from your usual working environment so that daily distractions can be avoided. It is effective if participants are able to give their complete attention to the planning session. Standard set up of the room requires working space for group planning activities.

While Strategic Planning must be taken seriously to be effective it should not mean endless hours gathered around a board room table with mountains of paperwork.
